Hackaball should not be operated in wet or damp outdoor conditions.
Do not subject Hackaball to violent impact or physical abuse. Attempting to puncture, stand on, violently kick, or hitting Hackaball with other objects can damage Hackaball and prevent it from working safely.
Hackaball’s jacket and shell are made of silicone rubber which can be recycled. Please check with local recycling services for environment-friendly recycling.
Do not dispose of the smart core of Hackaball in household waste. According to the European Guideline 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, electronic devices that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner. Please check with your local waste disposal services for environment-friendly disposal.
Lithium Polymer batteries are extremely hazardous and liable to cause serious injuries to persons or property if not used correctly.
The user accepts liability for the use of a Lithium Polymer battery.
In the event of battery leakage, avoid the liquid coming into contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with the skin, wash copiously with soap and water. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse copiously with cold water and consult a doctor.
If you notice a suspicious smell or noise or observe smoke around the charger, disconnect it immediately.
Non-compliance with the instructions below could result in gas being given off, fire, electric shock or an explosion.
Examine Hackaball regularly for damage to the cable, core or other parts. Never use a damaged charger or power adapter. Use only the supplied USB cable and powered USB port or charger rated at 5vDC 2A. If misused it can cause an electrical shock.
Never charge a leaky battery or one that has been damaged.
Do not charge the battery near flammable materials or on a flammable surface (carpet, wooden flooring, wooden furniture, etc.) or a conducting surface. Do not leave Hackaball unattended during charging.
Batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Do not cover your product or its charger while the battery is charging. Recharge the battery at an ambient (room) temperature of between 0¼ and 40¼ C (32¼ to 104¼F).

Limited Warranty to Original Purchaser
Hackaball, as supplied and distributed by Hackaball Ltd., and delivered new, in the original carton to the original purchaser, is warranted by Hackaball Ltd. against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (Òwarranty periodÓ). This warranty will not apply where Hackaball has not been purchased as a consumer.
Hackaball Ltd. will repair or replace Hackaball, at our discretion and at no charge with new or reconditioned parts, if defects in materials and/or workmanship are found during the warranty period and on the condition that the defects have been notified to us within the warranty period.
If a defect arises, please contact us at email@example.com to be provided with a Return Material Authorisation Request (RMA) number. Provide this number with your package when shipping. We do not accept returns without the RMA number. You will be responsible for all shipping costs.
Hackaball Ltd. does not warrant that the operation of Hackaball will be uninterrupted or error-free. Hackaball Ltd is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to Hackaball’s use.
This warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by use with non-Hackaball products;
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature; incorrect electrical line voltage, fluctuations or surges; damage caused by improper installation; product alteration or modification; improper or unauthorized repair; exterior finish or cosmetic damage; improper storage conditions;
- Damage or defects caused by operating Hackaball outside the intended uses described by Hackaball Ltd or arising from failure to follow any instructions for use of Hackaball;
- Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of Hackaball.
The terms of this warranty do not affect your statutory rights.
